  9. May be required to perform services in clients’ homes after required training and orientation is met.  
  10. May act as PRS Supervisor per regulations as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (PRS) Worker shall have one of the following:

3. An associate's degree and one (1) year work experience in mental health direct service; OR

5. A high school diploma or GED and two (2) years’ work experience in human services which must include one (1) year of mental health direct service.

Physical Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a Human Service field and 3 years related experience and a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner credential or the attainment of the credential within 2 years of employment. Valid driver's license required.

The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist (PRS) is responsible for providing services to individuals in the life domains of living, learning, working, socializing, and self-maintenance. The goal of services is to support individuals through direct skills teaching and building of supports, to be successful and satisfied in the environment of their choosing. The PRS will conduct initial and ongoing functional assessments, develop recovery-oriented rehabilitation plans with individuals, and provide person-centered interventions identified in each individuals plan.  
 
In addition, PRS staff provide individualized and group support and supervision to individuals enrolled in services. They communicate the individuals progress, status, and any changes in daily notes and ensure that the clinical record is in accordance with program guidelines. PRS promotes a safe and caring environment where individuals can learn and grow and promote community awareness by demonstrating professional, pleasant, approachable and helpful demeanor at all times. This position also requires the PRS to maintain their CPRP credential once it is attained.

Access Services, Delaware Valley Region is currently seeking a highly motivated, independent and organized individual to lead our Bucks County Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (Starting Point) Program.

The Director is responsible for directing the overall management, organization and service delivery of the Starting Point program. Directly supervise, support and educate program managers to help ensure that program objectives are being met and that services provided meet the needs of those being supported. Establish and execute the overall strategic vision of the Starting Point program within the county Behavioral Health system.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Direct the overall management and organization of the Starting Point program (Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services) within designated county.

·         Develop and cast the vision of the Starting Point program among staff and the broader community. Promote and market program to county mental health system and other providers, natural supports and faith communities.

·         Represent Access Services in various workgroups and meetings held within the county mental health system.

·         Provide direction and oversight to the development of community partners.

·         Maintain communication with Senior Director and Vice President Adult Behavioral Health and Crisis team.

·         Work with Senior Director of Adult Behavioral Health in the expansion of related adult mental health support services.

·         Maintain effective working relationships with other leadership across the system.

·         Report any operational, staff or individual concerns according to Access Services’ established policies and procedures.

·         Conduct periodic reviews and assessments of services, individual needs and staff needs. Report the findings and recommendations to the appropriate individuals.

·         Maintain appropriate documentation.

·         Oversee the development and usage of the Balanced Scorecard process.

·         Actively supervise and assist in the resolution of crisis situations.

·         Help ensure the highest quality of care to individuals in helping them meet their needs/goals.

·         Provide overall management of the referral process for Starting Point program and connect with county representatives about potential service options.

·         Keep abreast of developments in the field relating to the provision of services and recovery principles.

Fiscal:

·         Provide overall management to the development, implementation and monitoring of budgets.

·         Provide overall direction for the disbursement of funds for program operations and individual’s personal needs. Oversee accurate, up-to-date records of such disbursements.

·         Prepare various statistical, financial and special reports as required or requested.

·         Pursue the growth of funding resources through partnership with potential funders, Access Services development staff, and the fiscal department.

Personnel Management and Staff Development:

·         Provide supervision to program staff/volunteers/interns.

·         Conduct staff evaluations and give feedback on work performance on a regular basis.

·         Provide overall management of hiring program staff.

·         Help ensure that a proper training process is in place for program employees.

Requirements and Qualifications

·         Valid driver's license, access to own reliable vehicle and proof of adequate car insurance, required.

·         Master’s degree in psychology, social work or other human service related field required plus two (2) years of direct leadership experience, or, Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work

·         OR other human services related field plus five (5) years of direct work experience including one year of supervisory experience working directly with persons with chronic mental illness.

Access Services, Delaware Valley Region is currently seeking a Case Manager to join our Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitative Services (Starting Point) team based in our Fort Washington, PA office. The Case Manager position is full-time, working generally 40 hours per week; 9AM - 5PM Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as a part of the Starting Point team to deliver Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services to adults in Montgomery County living with mental illness in the community.
  • Develop implement and update recovery plans based on the goals of each participant.
  • Provide skill training and resource coordination in the areas of living learning working and socializing.
  • Engage participants in a way that recognizes every person's recovery process is unique, and support them in identifying strengths, existing supports, and community resources.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license, regular access to a reliable vehicle and adequate car insurance, required

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist needed to work in Westmoreland County.

Base of operations are in the Greensburg area.

Staff Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience in MH field.

One year must be in a licensed PR program. CPRP certification is a plus.

Position could be either Full Time or Part Time.

Pay rate is $20 per hour (for CPRP certified staff) for face to face billable time.

A lesser rate is reimbursed for non-billable paperwork and travel time.

Position is within a Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation program.

Basic job requirements:

  • Knowledge of and experience with individuals diagnosed with serious mental health diagnoses
  • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions/skills and ability to instruct and support individuals with their identified goals to recovery
  • Able to administer and interpret Functional Assessment results.
  • Must be able to work as a team within and outside of the program
  • Coordinate services
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills

All candidates MUST have at least one year in a licensed PR program. Candidates without this experience cannot be considered.

Criminal Clearances and clean driving record is required.

Company car is provided.
