    PATH International Finance Committee, with the Treasurer as chair, considers details of the budget, monitors financial condition and reports, approves major purchases, etc. working with the office manager.

    PATH International Governance Committee nominates officers and candidates for the board, recommends criteria for selection of new board members, provides orientation of new members, analyzes attendance at meetings, and recommends action regarding inactive members.

  • Certification Oversight Committee
    The PATH International Certification Oversight Committee is responsible for supervising the development and implementation of programs to certify individuals who provide equine assisted activities at various levels and in various disciplines. The Committee will ensure that the certification process accurately reflects the PATH International standards and code of ethics across the disciplines.
  • Certification Review and Development
    The task force is developing proposal for, gain input on, develop transition strategy for, and plan and lead implementation of outsourcing PATH International member education through curriculum approval and quality rating.
  • Communities Task Force
    Develop and implement systems and processes that connect individuals with a shared interest and/or purpose.

  • Driving Certification Sub-Committee
    The sub-committe helps PATH International develop and maintain standards in driving for individuals with disabilities at PATH International centers; to promote instructor certification opportunities in the area of driving; to generate interest in driving for individuals with disabilities and develop and share educational information regarding driving for the disabled.

  • Education Oversight Committee
    The Education Oversight Committee supports PATH International as an educational leader in the equine-assisted activities and therapies industry. Provide oversight and direct review of all educational opportunities, review interdisciplinary educational projects related to equine-assisted activities and therapies and appoints works groups as needed.

    The sub-committe develops and improves the curriculum, puts the certification for the Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL) in place, trains those who will teach the ESMHL workshops and evaluates the certification components of the ESMHL certification.

    The committee ensures the welfare of equines participating in PATH International programs.

    Reviewing processes and procedures to develop and train faculty for PATH International educational programs.

    The advisory group serves as an advisory group for PATH International on all health and education related issues and assists in reviewing and selection of abstracts for national conference, review and update standards manual, resource for PATH International in the areas of health, medicine, research and saftey and terminology review.
