This FREE webinar will address the new non-qualifying competition series and rework of ‘Test Track’ events. The webinar will be hosted by Patrick O'Neil with presenters Marc Weitzman and Elise Preston.
Marc Weitzman is a coach of regional, sectional, and national competitors and has been coaching skating for over 15 years. Marc is a former national competitor and a U.S. national medalist. He is a U.S. Figure Skating gold medalist in free skate, pairs, moves in the field, and figures. Marc volunteers for U.S. Figure Skating as a national level Technical Specialist in singles and pairs. In addition, Marc serves as the chair of the State Games Committee, as well as being a member of the Technical Panel and Grievance Committees, and as a coaching member for the Program Development Committee.
Elise Preston serves as the chair of U.S. Figure Skating’s Program Development Committee. She has served as a member of the Basic Skills Sub-Committee and is a regular presenter at the NARCE Skating Director course. Currently a member of The Skating Club of New York, Elise is wrapping up her 23rd year as the Skating School and Program Director at the Wollman Rink in Central Park. During her tenure, she has cultivated one of Learn to Skate USA’s largest programs through thoughtful, innovative program design. In 2010, she received an Award of Excellence from U.S. Figure Skating for outstanding dedication to the growth and development of the Basic Skills Program.
