PSA and U.S. Figure Skating are pleased to announce the Program Component Competitive Series, a coach-focused webinar series, covering the criteria for each of the five IJS Program Components.

This 4th installment of our 5 Webinar series, “Composition” will cover the 6 criterion used to evaluate composition as a Program Component. Additionally, we will explore ideas on how to translate these criterion into tangible instruction and examine several examples that express the key concepts.

The Composition Webinar will be hosted by Cindy Stuart and Gale Tanger.

Cindy Stuart is a prominent force in choreography for figure skating both in the professional and amateur ranks. For the last 12 years she has choreographed countless productions for Disney On Ice. Cindy continues to travel among the nine Disney On Ice units touring the world to work and develop the talent that is constantly evolving in each company. Cindy brings that performance quality to the competitive and gala programs she designs for national, world, and Olympic competitors. Clients include Richard Dornbush, Marai Nagasu, Alexa Scimeca Knierim and Chris Knierim, Gracie Gold, Jamie Sale and David Pelletier, Adam Rippon, and Mariah Bell. Cindy is a five-time PSA Choreographer of the Year nominee culminating in a win in 2016. Additionally, she was nominated for the 2016 PSA Sonia Henie award.
