Susan Tobin, Chapter Secretary

Susan Tobin was most recently Managing Director and Head of Credit Risk Management at MUFG Securities covering fixed income, equities, capital markets and structured businesses for all clients across the Americas. She contributed to various leadership committees and was instrumental in building the credit risk management infrastructure.

She was previously Managing Director at both Royal Bank of Scotland and BNP Paribas where she was concurrently Head of Trading Credit Risk Management and Head of Financial Institutions Credit Risk Management for the Americas.

Ms Tobin started her career by completing Chase Manhattan Bank’s Global Credit Training Program which led toward progressively more senior positions in lending relationship management, swap sales, restructuring and risk management. This was followed by various senior risk management roles at Citigroup. 

Ms Tobin holds a B.A. from Hofstra University and an M.B.A from Adelphi University. She served as Co- Chairperson of Capital Markets Credit Analysts Society.
