SEFLIN Workshops & Events
Face-to-face and Live Online workshops are open to staff from all Florida libraries free of charge. Priority will be given to SEFLIN members, and non-members will be added on a space-available basis.
Registration Procedures
SEFLIN members: Register online at Upcoming Events or the Staff Training Store.
Not a SEFLIN member? Complete the Non-Member Registration form in the event listing and submit it to training@seflin.org. You will be notified of your registration status one week before the event.
Cancellations
If you are unable to attend a Face-to-face or Live Online workshop, send an email to training@seflin.org to cancel your registration.
Certificates
Upon request to training@seflin.org, certificates of attendance for Face-to-face and Live Online workshops can be emailed following the completion of the workshop. Please allow one week to receive the certificate. For Self-Paced Online Training and DVDs, your confirmation email serves as proof of registration.

Skillsoft offers online self-paced courses for a wide range of information technology (networking, web design and graphics training) topics. SEFLIN has a limited number of licenses available for members to access these courses. To obtain a license, contact training@seflin.org.
Education Institute
SEFLIN has purchased vouchers for the Education Institute's scheduled web conferences, conducted by the field's most innovative and successful library professionals. Details about upcoming courses are sent through email. To register, send an email to training@seflin.org with the course date and title and your contact information.
Tech-Talk
Tech-Talk provides access to tools, techniques and strategies for using computers more effectively through weekly emails and the Tech-Talk.com website. More information...
Self-Paced Online Training
SEFLIN offers on-demand access to archived webinars so you can take courses when and where you want. Visit the Staff Training Store to view the courses and to register.
DVD Lending Library
Library staff may borrow DVDs and other multimedia materials for up to one month. Visit the Staff Training Store to view the DVDs and to register.
Technology Petting Zoo and Technology Loans
SEFLIN offers training on the latest technology gadgets through the Technology Petting Zoo program. In addition, when available, library staff may borrow ereaders, tablets, video cameras and other devices for staff training. Learn more about the Petting Zoo and Technology Loans programs.
