First organized in 2010, RAMC is held biannually in fall of even years. The meeting is a forum for established industry leaders, entrepreneurs, academics and regulators to discuss new technologies and recent developments in controlling and detecting microbial activity in various industrial settings, as well as to raise awareness about their safe and prudent solutions.
The meeting format for RAMC 2016 will be similar to the previous meetings, with 3 ½ days of non-concurrent sessions, a poster session, group meals and receptions to allow ample opportunities for those attending to engage in informal discussions. Technical topics will be spanning food microbial safety, microbial control in industrial water, detection of microbes, microbial issues associated with energy production, environmental microbial threats and the use of beneficial microbes for antimicrobial control.
