Due to coronavirus public health advice, all Association on-site classes are postponed thru May 10th.

The At Home With Diversity® course will prepare you to work effectively with today's increasingly diverse pool of homebuyers. Real estate professionals who adapt to increasing cultural diversity in the market and who wisely plan to meet the needs of diverse clients gain a competitive edge and are able to expand opportunities.

The objectives of this course include:

  • Heighten awareness of and sensitivity to the social and cultural constituencies of local real estate markets. 
  • Help students develop skills in cross-cultural communication and strategic business planning.
  • Offer analysis regarding consumers who make up the local market as well as their values, customs and real estate needs as well as the expectations of real estate professionals.
  • Provide practical skills and tools to increase real estate professionals’ effectiveness in servicing all social groups.

The At Home with Diversity® course is the core course in order to obtain the At Home with Diversity® Certification and counts for elective credit toward the ABR®, CIPS, CRS, RSPS and PMN designation.

Instructor Bio:

Mark Kitabayashi has been practicing residential real estate for 17 years in WA. His experiences and expertise of managing, Office, REO Team, New Construction Team, and International real estate, plus His involvement with REALTORS® Association (Local & State President, NAR Director, and NAR Leadership Team) brings multiple dimension into his class room. His former experience as legal assistant, corporate travel agent, Manager of import/export company certainly shaped his business and teaching style. His goal on teaching is to give students practical idea that they can use on their business on daily bases. As experience trainer for Windermere Real Estate, and approved instructor for NAR, WR, you will enjoy his style of teaching.  Winner of Hugh Hawkins Award (Best Instructor Award) 2016 for Washington REALTORS®.
