WHAT IT IS
Does it Pencil will teach you how to do two things: how to work with investors and how to invest in any kind of real estate.
Does it Pencil training is a specific set of tools and skills taught in a simple and practical way to analyze the real value of real estate held as an investment. Does it Pencil is NOT a commercial real estate course – it’s an INVESTMENT course. For each skill, you will learn what it is, how to do it, then we will apply it during the training to real deals in your market. THE CERTIFIED REAL ESTATE ANALYST CERTIFICATION
Does it Pencil training is the required course to receive the Certified Real Estate AnalystTM (CREA) certification. After attending the live training all you need to do is take the online national standards exam. There are no fees and no dues. It’s all included in the course tuition.
HOW DOES IT PENCIL WORKS
Does it Pencil is a mix of both live and online training. After you register, we will send you a confirmation letter with a link to a private page on the Does it Pencil website. You will need to get an HP 10BII calculator (or app), download a short workbook and watch 4 videos. These will teach you the keystrokes we will use in the live training.
The live training is designed to teach deal analysis. It’s fast paced and information packed. So PLEASE watch the videos and get your app BEFORE you come to the live training so you are acquainted with your calculator.
At the course you will be given access to the Alumni Center. This includes a set of videos and practice problems that cover everything in the course so you have a place to practice.
