The Super Scary Stuff that Home inspectors bring up.  Things that scare both you and your client.  Mold, Radon, Asbestos, Oil Tanks, remodeling without permits?

Our goal with this class and every one of our classes is to help you sidestep the landmines during the inspection so it goes as smooth as it can.  What are the case scenarios you should run in your head when there is an oil tank?   Why is Radon a big deal in other states but, not that prevalent locally?  How do you handle Mold in an attic?  There is a 2800 dollar mold solution and 10,000 solution for mold in an attic what is the difference?   Is Asbestos really the end of the world?  The answer is no but, we need to talk to our clients about it so they do not freak out.

Ready to do a Manufactured home?  What is the difference between a Mobile, Modular home and a Manufactured home?  What are the issues with them almost every single time?

They remodeled off the back of the house without permits?  What does that mean to my transaction?

Is there a way to tell a house is remodeled from the driveway? (sometimes there is)

We will teach you how to handle these scenarios and give you some insight into how it all works.  Ultimately many of the houses for sale for have major issues that can be solved and we will talk about some solutions.

Bob Gross is the Market Director for B.P.G. inspections in the Seattle metro area.  He has completed over 1800 inspections in the area and lives with his wife Shelly in Everett.
