9th Annual TREC Planting Project

Our 9th Annual TREC Planting Project is at Dunn Gardens.
Hot soup and sandwich lunch, and refreshments provided thanks to the Affiliate Council.
TREC volunteers will work to help to clear the Dunn Gardens ravine, pool area and northwest boundary of invasive plants. In addition volunteers will clean the east border and plant native plants.The project will greatly assist the garden staff in maintaining the historic character of the Gardens. It is recommended you wear comfortable, layered clothing, sturdy boots or shoes and bring your own gloves if possible. The project will proceed rain or shine so you may also need rain-gear.
Volunteers will be working with Zsolt Lehoczky, Head Groundsman, Judy Broom and Bonnie Chester, master gardeners and directors of the docent program. They will work alongside the volunteers and offer instructions.
Carpooling is encouraged as parking around Dunn Gardens is limited.
