On October 3, 2022, there will be a forms change that will unquestionably change the way you do business. The change will impact how you are paid and "if" you are paid. You will be unprepared if you are not fully aware of the forms change and if you do not start changing your practices. The forms change bears directly on buyer broker compensation. In this class, we will discuss the facts that are driving this significant evolution within the industry, why it is important and what brokers need to do now, to be prepared and what brokers will need to do on and after October 3, 2022.

Annie Fitzsimmons is the Washington REALTORS® Legal Hotline Attorney. She served on the task force that drafted the Agency Law from 1994 to 1996 and the task force that worked in 2004 and 2005 considering revisions to the Licensing Law, RCW 18.85. She has sued and defended real property owners, buyers, sellers and brokers across the state but has recently made it her personal priority to ensure that no Washington REALTOR® is ever sued again for something they could have avoided. Believing that education is the best way to achieve this goal, she is here today. So, take advantage of her experience and ask questions that are important to you. Raise your hand and focus discussion on issues that are challenging you today.

To verify attendance, students must keep their camera on for the duration of the course and respond to live polls.
