Central Chapter 2018 Fall Meeting LAWRENCE, KS

Event Description

The Central Chapter of the Society of Wetland Scientists is hosting a 1.5 day Stream Investigation, Stabilization  & Design Workshop followed by the Society’s Annual meeting and tour of Baker Wetlands.  

    Oct. 3-4, 2018

Registration Fee

$150 SWS Members

$50 for students (SWS and Non-SWS Members) 

$250 for Non-SWS members.  

Enrollment Period for SWS Members and SWS Students Members is through September 7th, Non-SWS member attendees can enroll on September 8th. 

All enrollment ends September 26th.

Limited to 45 attendees.

Field sites can be sites can be eroded sites, or of interest to the sponsor, or DOT or local govts. where the class develops conceptual designs for stabilization/restoration, then those concepts are developed into Plans and Specs and then during a second workshop the project is built & the second workshop participants plant all the plants & save the client serious coin!!
