Registration Instructions
This class provides participating Real Estate professionals with information to assist their clients to market and sell farm properties to commercial farm buyers by helping the realtors to learn more about the information needed by commercial farm buyers which is not typically a part of private residential sales or the sales of non-commercial rural properties, as well as the resources available to help acquire that information and prepare it for presentation. This class will also provide education on tools and resources available to help realtors to reach the commercial farm buyer, characteristics of the commercial farm buyer, an introduction to legal and tax issues of specific relevance to farms, farm financing options available to commercial farmers, and an introduction to conservation easements and issues which need to be considered when selling farms which have existing conservation easements.
