Standard Setting Committee
Committee Description
Committee Purpose: To remain apprised of activities of standard setting authorities (e.g., GASB) that may impact governmental entities. This committee conducts research to enable VGFOA to formulate a position on standards and supports formulation of education and communication strategies to best inform members in a timely manner. The committee reviews Exposure Drafts and formulates an official VGFOA response by the comment deadline.
