The Stakes Are Higher Than Ever: Event Contracts in the Age of COVID-19

In the age of COVID-19, event planners are finding themselves in a challenging predicament with regards to contracting. The situations surrounding COVID-19 have simply highlighted issues for planners that they may not have focused on as carefully before. To help planners overcome these uncertainties, Barbara will virtually lead an informative program focusing on contracting for the future. She will cover how to avoid the most common contract mistakes and the one contingency that the pandemic brought to the foreground, force majeure, including why these provisions are essential in all types of contracts and what the requirements of the provision should be.
