On June 9, 2014 the Knickerbocker Chapter of CRSI will be holding its newly reformatted Annual Golf Outing for members, guests and friends in conjunction with the Education and Research Foundation. This new format will include the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets and participate in a silent auction with the proceeds going to the Foundation. Fantastic prizes will be up for grabs!
Companies are encouraged to participate as a Golf Sponsor! All sponsors will be prominently displayed on a large sign at the 1st tee and during the cocktail hour & dinner. This is an excellent opportunity to show your support for the chapter and to spread your good will. The Mission of the CRSI Foundation:
The CRSI Education & Research Foundation has entered a new era and needs your support. The Foundation is helping to support important research and education programs that will ultimately improve and expand the use of reinforced concrete in construction.
These activities include:
- University scholarships for future design & construction leaders with an interest in reinforced concrete construction.
- Sponsorship of six targeted undergraduate scholarships at prominent universities across the North America.
- Co-Sponsorship of annual professor’s seminars focused on design solutions with reinforced concrete.
- Sponsorship of the CRSI Graduate Research Fellowship program as well as other regional research and educational programs of special interest to reinforced concrete industries.
