Program Highlights

Renewing the Past, Building the Future—Dr. Zach Grasley
Texas and the United States have significant infrastructure needs, requiring innovative solutions to upgrade aging roadways and pipelines, as well as the national power grid.

The new Center for Infrastructure Renewal (CIR) will house researchers who are developing advanced and sustainable materials and structural systems that will reduce cost and extend infrastructure life, safety, resiliency and durability.  Technology and new materials developed in the CIR will lower infrastructure construction costs, increase the lifespan of these materials and perform the repairs in a shorter timeframe across the state and nation.

CRSI Update—Rolfe Jennings & Danielle Kleinhans
Hear from your Greater Southwestern Region Manager, Rolfe Jennings, and President & CEO, Danielle Kleinhans, on the accomplishments made in the past year and what is on the horizon for the upcoming year.

Clay Shooting Tournament

The National Shooting Complex is one of the premier shooting facilities in the world, spanning 671 acres of San Antonio countryside. As the headquarters for the National Skeet Shooting Association and National Sporting Clays Association, it hosts elite tournaments for both sports, including the World Skeet Championships and National Sporting Clays Championship. In addition, it is the venue for a wide range of shooting and non-shooting events for thousands of serious competitors, casual shooters, and outdoors enthusiasts each year.

The clay shoot will have 50 targets and includes guns (participants are welcome to bring their own), ammunition, eye and ear protection, and bottled water.

Hill Country Winery & Distillery Tour

You may be discovering what five million annual visitors already know: The Texas Hill Country Wineries and Distilleries  are spectacular and fun! We invite newcomers and old friends alike to an experience only Texas can offer.
