It's Not Just Compliance - Paplanus and McElroy
For two years, lenders have been racing to keep up with compliance issues from all fronts.
Penny Paplanus, CMB with Cognitive Options Group, Greensboro, NC and Darren McElroy with The Turning Point, Sedona, AZ join together to provide deeper understanding for all who attend.
Darren offers a focus from the corporate communications and product marketing perspective. He understands that there is an increasing demand to maximize resources within business enterprises. With that demand comes risk. Darren will help you take hold of compliance with a different understanding of where weak points may be.
Penny provides a different approach. She directs her attention to the federal and state mandates that continue to evolve even as the Convention draws near. Doing business is taking a risk. Penny will help the attendees better understand that part of the process is recognizing how much risk one is willing to take.
This is not just another hour...it's an education in an hour!
"When the Storm Passes - Will there be Good Sailing?" -
Pat Cutler, Cutler Consulting, Columbia, SC
Many of us know Pat Cutler. He is a frequent contributor to MBAC and his articles are shared with membership regularly. He's the very funny guy, whom some claim has been Robin William's comedy coach for years! There are even those who claim there is an uncanny resemblance.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina in 1976, he joined Fleet Real Estate Funding in 1978 and joined the Fleet Capital Markets team in 1980. His secondary marketing and risk management experience along with credit policy, quality control and residential lending including production, operations and serving provided the backdrop for founding Cutler Consulting which is a financial services consulting company specializing in mortgage banking and the housing market.
Pat brings real life experience in our industry to his articles and to this special appearance as a presenter at the MBAC 55th Annual Convention.
"Navigating Through Third Party Originations" with Berry
and Bickett and Guest Presenter, Bill Early delivering
"Become Your Client's GPS"
Bruce Berry and Kathy Bickett, Wholesale/Correspondent/Broker Committee Co-Chairs will lead attendees in "Navigating the Rough Waters of 2010 Toward Smoother Sailing in 2011". And that's just the beginning... Bill Early will present "Become Your Client's GPS".....
C’mon, be honest. Is there a better way to boost productivity and ensure client retention than by introducing your lenders to ‘best in class’ proven business strategies? Well, you could try more e-blasts, ’better service’, or even a bigger variety of programs and rates. I don’t think that will work anymore. Do you?
Bill will point out the value and necessity of being ‘different’. The importance today of committing to deliver something that will enable your clients to grow their business. They are looking to you for expertise, some creativity, and a whole lot of direction. You can become the ‘rudder’ that helps them navigate in today’s competitive and confusing environment.
This brief session will be insightful, informative, and stimulating (it has to be because it’s lunch time). Be prepared for a reality check. Bring your mental floss. Get fired up for a change…in your approach.
