Speaker Information

Instructor:  Stacy Lang, PhD, LCSW-C, LCSW, ACSW

 

Dr. Lang is a private practice clinician working with those impacted by domestic abuse, trauma, and loss. Additionally, Dr. Lang presents community education trainings addressing the issues of intimate partner violence, grief, and elder abuse.

Dr. Lang received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and her Master of Social Work degree from Tulane University.  She completed her PhD in Social Work at the University of Denver, where her research focused on psychoneuroimmunology.

Dr. Lang has been a social worker for over 25 years. Dr. Lang has worked in private practice, as well as a variety of public and nonprofit settings, and she has been a social work educator for over 10 years, having taught graduate and undergraduate social work at Yeshiva University, UAlbany, and Norfolk State University.
