Jennifer Green -- Senior Vice President at Michael A Burns & Associates
Jennifer Green is Senior Vice President for Michael A. Burns & Associates, one of the largest independent, full-service Public Relations firms in the Southwest, with established strengths in business-to-business, financial communications, consumer marketing, international business and creative services. With more than 17 years on the MB&A team, Jennifer serves some of the agency's longest-standing clients in the technology, manufacturing, financial, real estate / construction, transportation, hotel and restaurant industries. She has developed and managed full-range communications campaigns and worked with a number of clients on publicity for corporate acquisitions/mergers, product roll-outs and market introductions, and branding campaigns, in addition to managing comprehensive employee relations campaigns and providing strategic communications counsel. When the company launched its international business division in 2000, Jennifer spearheaded the business development efforts and also established strategic partners in key European markets, including Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands.  She is currently at the helm of the agency’s newest venture, Burns Interactive, which is a division devoted to digital and interactive communications campaigns. Active in the business and civic community, Jennifer is a member of the Public Relations Society of America. She serves on the board of Shakespeare Dallas, and is the company representative in Core24, a business development and networking company created to provide a one-stop resource of top-tier professional service firms in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Jennifer received her journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mike Orren -- President & Founder of Pegasus News
Mike Orren is a new media junkie who started his career doing manual newspaper pasteup with an exacto and glue. His consultancy, Just Be Amazing, works with media companies, retailers and nonprofits to tap into the strengths in what they do best. Clients include CBS, Examiner.com, The Ferguson Road Initiative, SourceMedia, MobileMum and a B2B news startup launching in March. He is the founder of Pegasus News, which he led from launch through two acquisitions. Pegasus News is the nation's largest single-market pureplay news and entertainment site and was an early pioneer in the hyperlocal space. Mike has also been Publisher of American Lawyer Media's Texas books and newspapers and was Associate Publisher / General Manager of D Magazine during its 1990's relaunch. Mike is a music snob, a gadget geek, a sailor and an improviser-in-training. His first book, on Texas' Prison Entrepreneurship Program, will be released in late 2012.

Wade Allen -- Presdident of CouponFactory
Wade Allen is President of CouponFactory and leads the company’s ideation and delivery of retail products and digital shopper marketing solutions. As a seasoned retail and loyalty marketer, Wade has experience driving breakthrough strategy and solutions for blue-chip retailers.  Before joining CouponFactory, Wade was an Account Director/VP Solutions Lead with RAPP where he provided strategic consulting and analysis for several large retail accounts. Wade also served as RAPP UK’s Integration Director in London for where he infused data, digital and analytics into the traditional creative agency model.  Wade started his professional career as a Senior Marketing Analyst at dunnhumby USA where he provided product and customer analysis for CPGs and co-developed one of the nation’s largest consumer shopping panels using grocery loyalty data. Wade holds a BA in Marketing Communications from Brigham Young University and a MS in Integrated Marketing from Northwestern University.



Mike Merrill -- Director of Marketing at ReachLocal
Mike D. Merrill is a community builder and social media evangelist and speaks regularly on the ROI of Social Media, Personal Branding, and power of Content Marketing. As Director of Marketing at ReachLocal, he leads the company's social media efforts and product marketing for ReachCast. Mike is President of the Social Media Club of Dallas, a group dedicated to showcasing social media marketing best practices. He is co-organizer of Ignite Dallas. Prior to ReachLocal, Mike consulted in the areas of social media and online marketing. Mike held several outside sales roles in IT with NetApp and Dell. As a corporate marketer, Mike ran marketing for Dell’s $2 Billion higher education vertical with responsibility for driving demand for all lines of business for the US. Prior to Dell, Mike held various roles in product management and product marketing for two venture-backed software startups, Alventive, Inc. and Tonic Software (acquired by Symantec), developing web-based collaboration and systems management solutions. Prior to graduate school, Mike spent five years in operations management with Intel®.
Mike also advises startup FanCorps and sits on the Board of the Volunteer Center of N. Texas. Mike pursued his MBA at The University of Michigan’s Ross Business School and holds undergrad degrees in Finance and Accounting from New Mexico State University. Mike resides in Plano, TX with his wife and two daughters, who, unfortunately, are also addicted to the internet and Facebook. ..And he also has a thing for bacon.
