Power of Ten Leadership Program

We are bringing to Maine the Power of Ten Leadership Program. A national program, this program provides new graduates with knowledge and tools to be more effective communicators, veterinary practice members and owners, and leaders in their communities. More information and the application process.

Our Legislative Chair, Dr. Anne Del Borgo, previously reported on two pieces of legislation which, if passed, would have had far-reaching implications for Maine veterinarians. Both have now been defeated by unanimous committee reports. More..

MVMA Scholarship Awards

Our Association encourages Maine’s veterinary students to return to Maine to practice. In this regard, our Maine Veterinary Education Foundation awards a number of scholarships to students –including veterinary technicians--completing their education. To read more about the students awarded scholarships this year, please click here.  Any Maine student enrolled in a school of veterinary medicine is welcome to dues-free membership in our Association.
