Like most not for profits, we count on donations to achieve our mission goals.
Even though we are a paid membership organization, the majority of the cost our $45 is directly used to service our members in the form of services for each individual member. These services include production and distribution of Water Flying magazine, continued development and maintenance of our technologies such as the member database system, website and the Water Landing Directory just to name a few.
Donations from individuals and corporations allow us to fund safety seminars, award seaplane rating scholarships, produce safety and advocacy videos, conduct public outreach and fund advocacy programs to protect and expand access to seaplanes.
Donors contributions have made the following possible:
Production of the SPA/AOPA Invasive Species Training Video
Development of the Water Landing Directory App
Production of the Seaplane & Boating Compatibility Video
Creation and Maintaining the Seaplane Rating Scholarship Program
New funding is specifically needed for the following projects:
Gear Down Water Landing Training Video
Seaplane Learning Center Construction
Audio Visual Equipment for Workshops and Safety Seminars
Website Development
