Program Description

This program will go over some important updates in partnership taxation.  The program will deal with recent court decisions, new regulations, changes to forms, and IRS announcements - Revenue Rulings, Procedures, etc.

  • To gain some insight into changes that may be coming in the next year in partnership taxation.

About the Presenter

Jim Lynch is the Tax Director at Sobel & Co. who is charged with preparing many of the firm's more complex personal, partnership, and fiduciary returns, as well as most of the firm's estate tax returns.  In addition, he is significantly involved in research and planning, particularly in the partnership and estate areas.  Click here to read Jim's full biography. 

 

Jason Navarino is a partner in Riker Danzig’s Tax and Corporate Groups.  He has considerable experience advising both large and small business clients with respect to structuring and documenting domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures in a tax-efficient and tax-compliant manner, forming operating and investment partnerships and limited liability companies, and managing other related tax and corporate matters.  Jason also counsels nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations with respect to tax, corporate, employment and intellectual property matters.
