Justin Dodge, tax partner at EKS&H, will address selected partnership and LLC tax topics, including: 

• substantial economic effect rules
• the merits of using entity debt to partners versus preferred equity
• target capital accounts and
• contribution of appreciated property - who benefits under the 3 possible treatment methods? 

This program is jointly sponsored by the BCBA Business Section and the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants. Discussion and questions will be encouraged.

Cost: $30 for 1.5 CLE credits, $20 New/Young Lawyer or CPA, $12 lunch.
