The point of this CLE is to discuss issues around intercompany debt in corporate liquidations, in situations when:
  • Parent indebted to subsidiary, subsidiary indebted to parent
  • Treatment where sec. 332 applies; where sec. 332 does not apply

About the Presenter:
Tom Howard, CPA
Tom is a graduate of Drexel University and the University of Texas at Austin, and holds a CPA license in Pennsylvania. Tom assists corporate tax departments with income tax accounting and international tax matters. Prior to this he was an international tax partner and principal with EY and the tax director for a medical device company.
