Join Ms. Baria Jaroudi for a presentation that will allow the participants to be a better resource for their clients when a business valuation is involved and to have this knowledge as a toll in their  JD/ CPA toolbox.

  • Provide a board overview of business valuation to be able to advise clients on when a valuation might be appropriate, and the roles of a CPA and independent business valuation expert
  • To learn about the consideration of determining value of a business enterprise
  • To learn about tree main approaches to value an enterprise and some of the ancillary factors which can impact value

About the Presenter

Ms. Baria Jaroudi has been providing valuation & litigation support services for a broad range of clients and industries since 2010. Baria has prepared valuations of corporate securities, members' interests in limited liability companies, and partnership interests of private and closely-held companies. The purposes have varied for Estate and Gift Tax, Buy/Sell Agreements, sale of a company, and litigation cases involving shareholder dispute cases. Assignments include all data gathering, financial and valuation analysis, economic and industry analysis, and report preparation. She has worked on valuation of intangible assets for privately and publicly-held companies.

Who Should Attend? Attorneys, CPAs, Business Professionals

State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. (M)CLE varies by state. Though we are accredited for (M)CLE in PA they will not accept webinars  for credit. If you require (M)CLE in a specific state, please send a request to info@attorney-cpa.com  prior to the program date and we will do our best to arrange for credit. Please note that most state bars will accept our Certificates of Attendance sent in by the attorney and NOT charge a fee. A general Certificate of Attendance will be made available for those professionals who feel the program satisfies their continuing education requirements and are able to self-file.
