This study group
session will explore the application of the 3.8% surtax to trusts
and estates and the planning ideas to avoid or minimize the tax.
The discussion will included grantor and non-grantor trusts,
charitable remainder trusts, qualified subchapter S trusts,
electing small business trusts. Also covered will be the reporting
requirements and actual case studies complete with calculations.
Jere Doyle is an
