The AAA-CPA has reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Sofitel. The AAA-CPA has negotiated a rate of $235 for King. The Sofitel will only guarantee our room rate until October 14, 2014. For those who wish to spend additional time at the hotel, our discounted rates will be honored pre and post based on availability. Current room rates are double at our hotel so book early to make sure you are in our block!


 

Travel: Getting to and from the DC area is extremely easy from across the county. You can travel by air into Washington Reagan (DCA), Washington Dulles (IAD), or fly into the Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). BWI is approximately 35-40 minute from DC; Reagan about 15 minutes from the hotel and Dulles approximately 25-30 minutes. DC is also accessible via Amtrak.

 

Parking: Valet parking is available at the hotel at prevailing overnight and daily rates.  There are numerous garages near the hotel with daily rates as well.


Dress: The dress for the AAA-CPA Fall Meeting is business casual. It is suggested that men bring jackets for upscale dining. Comfortable shoes are suggested as Washington DC is a walkable city! Keep in mind, average temperatures in mid-Fall in Washington DC vary from 55–65 degrees during the day and drop to 40–50 degrees in the evenings.
