Learning opportunity for ESOL teachers that will support a select group of practitioners as they refine their use of instructional routines that can:
· work in virtual and in-person learning environments;
· transfer across content areas;
· address levels of language proficiency; and
· engage multiple essential skills.
By the end of this extended professional learning event, instructors will be able to:
· employ a repertoire of instructional routines that align to the Florida ESOL Framework and support all ESOL learners’ language development and employability skills;
· integrate the elements of high leverage practices at all stages of ESOL instruction;
· Identify ways to adapt peer coaching and reflective teaching practices to their teaching concepts.
