The Student Volunteer Program is available to current AMSUS Student/Resident Members only, and is designed to provide opportunities to network and interact with leaders and peers, international military, and other organizations (e.g., VHA and USPHS). Students will attend plenary sessions to better understand the strategic goals and directions of federal health leaders.
Students will gather at membership booth for a brief overview, network with your fellow AMSUS Student Members, and walk as a group into the morning plenary session. AMSUS staff will help make personal introductions to key leadership, attendees and members.
Volunteer assignments may include: meet/assist leadership and presenters, exhibit hall, membership booth, poster presentations, and “floaters” to help with general meeting questions.
Volunteers will have access to the entire meeting.
Volunteer time/days are 7:30am-1pm* Tuesday, November 28 - Wednesday, November 29 - and Thursday, November 30. Choose which day works best for your schedule. You may register for as many days as you wish.
*If you would like to be an afternoon Session Room Monitor - instead of, or in addition to morning volunteer assignments - email lori.lawrence@amsus.org.
You are responsible for travel, parking, hotel and meal costs - AMSUS will NOT reimburse any expenses.
