Through discussion and experiential components, participants will explore multiple songwriting techniques and specific interventions with implications for use in both individual and group therapy. Participants will gain comfort in moving beyond traditional fill-in or piggy-back methods as they explore the art of composition. Participants will leave this session with detailed session plans, activity sheets, and handouts describing multiple examples of group and individual songwriting interventions.
