Speaker Information

Janice Schreibman, MM, MT-BC: Jan is Co-Chair of the AMTA Ethics Board, Director of Music Therapy at the University of Indianapolis, Founder of Creative Pathways, Indy, and PhD Candidate at Lesley University.

Barbara Bastable, MA, MT-BC: Barbara retired in 2017 after 23 years as a Music Therapy Instructor & Supervisor of Intern/Practicum Students at Southern Methodist University. Barbara provided music therapy in schools for 15 years.

Carol Shultis, PhD, MT-BC: Carol is Director of Music Therapy at Converse College. Based on years of clinical experience, she has supervised students, interns & professionals and taught for 15+ years. 

Kevin Hahn,  MM, MT-BC: Kevin works for the California Department of State Hospitals. He brings administrative skills and project management knowledge to the Ethics Board where he has served since 2017. 

Jennifer DeBedout, MM, MT-BC: Jen owns a private practice in Burlington, VT. She has served AMTA on both regional and national levels, published in the JMT, and contributed as author to AMTA publications.

Rachelle Morgan, MA, MT-BC: Rachelle has been in clinical practice since 2004 and is the founder of Soundscaping Source, a private practice in Kansas City, where her team primarily serves older adults.

Jennifer Sokira, MMT, LCAT, MT-BC: Jennifer is Founding Director of Connecticut Music Therapy Services, Instructor/Content Developer at EnlightenCE and adjunct faculty at Alverno College.

Cheryl Stephenson, MMT, LCAT, MT-BC: Cheryl’s undergraduate training is in Music Therapy and Music Ed. from East Carolina University. Her MMT is from Michigan State University. She is E.D. of the Music Academy of Eastern Carolina, in NC.

Kim Robertson, MBA, MT-BC: Kim is the manager for the Music Therapy and Hospital-Based School programs and internship director for Children’s Mercy Kansas City. She has over 35 years experience in behavioral health.

Beth Ann Kimura, MT-BC: Beth works from a strengths-based, multicultural, and collaborative approach. Beth specializes in working with youth/adolescents, LGBTQIA+ individuals.
