Event Description

Streamlining for Greatness:  Paring the Process Down to its Potential

It should be a common goal of all parties to seek an efficient and effective process for resolving contested issues, yet too often the process incurs far more in costs and time than the parties imagined when they agreed to include an arbitration clause in their contract. The 2015 ARIAS•U.S Spring Conference will focus on ways and means for streamlining the process, from neutral panels to awarding of costs, including a session devoted to introducing the streamlined rules that have been developed for smaller value disputes.

Following the 2014 Fall Conference, which invited attendees to hear from the arbitrators, the 2015 Spring Conference will  provide sessions for parties to explore and debate how best to avoid unnecessary delay and costs of the process while preserving the goal of obtaining a fair and commercially predictable resolution of disputed issues.
