Attention Authors! The ASALH convention presents an exciting opportunity for you to gain visibility and promote your book as well as learn about current issues in the field of African American history. Our annual convention draws nearly 1,000 attendees each year from across the nation and internationally. There are two ways you can promote your work at the convention:

Participate in our convention Authors Book Signing Event
As a current member of ASALH (or by becoming a member) you will have the opportunity to register for this premier event at the convention and we can showcase your work on the ASALH Bookshelf.  Your book title will also be listed in our annual convention journal.

Space is limited so reserve your space now!

The registration will only work for current members of ASALH. You can also register via mail using the Downloadable Form (see the bottom of this page). Completed applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis.
