Registration Pricing Information
The Full Convention Package includes all Panel Sessions and plenary sessions, access to exhibit area and 1 ticket to each of the following events: Opening Reception at Stax Museum, ALL ASALH Luncheons, JAAH Reception, Friday Night Reception at The National Civil Rights Museum, ASALH Banquet, the Ecumenical Breakfast and one (1) bus tour of your choice.
*The full convention package only includes the ONE tour of your choice. All other tours can be purchased individually.
Individual General, Senior and Student Registrations only include entry to all panel, plenary sessions and the exhibit hall.
Refund Policy: All refund requests must be in writing and received no later than August 20, 2014.See refund policy at www.asalh.org on the convention registration page.
There will be NO refunds after August 20, 2014.There will be a 25% processing fee withheld from any and all refunds the before August 20th refund deadline.
Please inform us if you have any special needs. These include but are not limited to wheelchair accessibility, vegetarian/vegan dietary needs, gluten intolerance or any other food allergies.
Convention Lodging: We encourage you to make your reservations early as the ASALH block
will sell out! Preference for available rooms in the ASALH block is given to attendees who pre-register for the convention. Although rooms nights are sold out at The Peabody, please check back to see if there is an opening until September 2nd. You may be able to secure a reservation from a person who has cancelled. Additional rooms are available at the Holiday In Downtown Memphis at the ASALH rate of $164. 888.300.5491.

Note:If you are joining or renewing your ASALH membership and registering NOW, in order to receive your ASALH member discount join ASALH in one transaction then go back and register for the event. If you want to register as an exhibitor you should also follow the steps below and select "exhibitor registration" for your registration type.

Sign in with your email and password. Note: If you have multiple email addresses try them all before setting up a new amount. If you do not remember your password, click "Forgot My Password" and a link to create a new password will be sent to your email address.
Once you arrive at the Event Registration Wizard, choose the registration package that you would like to purchase Note: If you have already registered for the conference and would like to add a guest or an additional session, select the option listed as “A la Carte”
On the next page, titled Enter Registration Information, enter the required information. Be sure to fill out the required boxes (noted with a red R) before you proceed.
On the Select Sessions and Confirm Conference Agenda page, you will be able to register for tours and sessions separate from the individual registration types. If you have purchased an All Inclusive Package do not add tours/sessions already included in your package. Note: Click on the title of each event for tour schedules and session descriptions.There is a second page of tours. In order to access page 2 do not click“next”. Instead, click on the “2” besides “Page 1”.
On the Select Guests page select the number of guests you want to register for. If you are not registering a guest select “0”.Note: If the guest you want to register for a guest who already has an ASALH membership, please register them under their own account. All guests that you register under your account can only access information about
scheduled events with your username and password, however, by registering them
under their account they can access their agenda at their own leisure.
Read all of the directions carefully on the Confirm and Submit Registration page and then click “Register Now” to proceed.
On the next page, titled Registration Confirmation review your purchases and click “Check Out” if you plan on paying with a credit/debit card. If you would prefer to pay via PayPal click the PayPal icon directly below the “Check Out” button.
