Westminster College seeks a full-time faculty member in new media, with expertise in technical writing, to teach courses in both its undergraduate communication and Master of Professional Communication programs. In a letter of application, applicants should address their ability to teach Web writing and design, desktop publishing, digital image editing, other new media genres, technical and professional writing, and professional editing. Supervision of undergraduate internships and graduate theses/projects is required. We seek a candidate who envisions her or his faculty role as that of a learning guide, facilitator, and mentor. Ph.D. or Ed.D. and teaching experience are required. The candidate must have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. Professional experience in related fields is highly desirable. Experience working with community groups and organizations is a plus.
