This conference is designed for physicians, nurses, social workers, nursing home administrators, chaplains, healthcare managers, administrators and consumer to discover best practices and learn about the updates regarding end of life issues, as well as explore the National POLST Care Continuum Toolkit and the MOST Form.
Continuing Education Credit: The Carolinas Center for Hospice and End of Life Care is an approved provider of continuing education by North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
This activity is approved for 6.50 hours of continuing education.
Counselors: The Carolinas Center for Hospice and End of Life Care is an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program.
Social Workers: This educational offering is approved for social work continuing education hours under the guidelines of the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board and the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners. South Carolina social workers must be a member of The Carolinas Center.
