WEBINAR: CEWD & CSM: A Tool That Makes a Difference in the Quality of the Energy Workforce Pipeline

Event Description

CEWD and CSMlearn: A Partnership to Improve Common Employability Skills - WEBINAR
Thursday, July 25, 2019
1:00 - 2:15 PM EST

Almost a year ago, CEWD began working with CSMlearn to map their curriculum and certificate to the Energy Industry Common Employability Skills Framework and our competency model.  The CMS certificate certifies High Performance skills and competencies, including problem solving strategies and mindset, attention to detail, persistence and self-reliance, and high personal expectations. Because these components map so well to the employability skills energy companies are looking for, we agreed to test the curriculum and certificate with a few of our member companies.

During the first half of 2019, CEWD, in partnership with three company members, conducted pilots to test the effectiveness of the CSM course and High Performance Certificate. The results are in! All three companies, Ameren, Pepco, and Omaha Public Power District (OPPD), will share the measurable results of their pilot programs.

For those who are not familiar with the CSM course and credential, the webinar will also include an overview from CSMlearn.

Please contact Valerie Taylor if you have any questions.
