Program Description
Key knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology (A&P) for health information staff is critical to the success of accurate and compliant coding.


Attendees will:

  • Review and learn A&P of the respiratory system
  • Understand disease process of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and pneumonia
  • Refresh knowledge of coding guidelines for COPD and pneumonia in ICD-10-CM
  • Discuss documentation and coding scenarios
