Program Description
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has issued the long awaited modifications to the Title 22 California Code of Regulations Medical Information Breach Requirements. The presenters will dissect and explain the new sections of the regulation for healthcare organizations while providing best practice recommendations for an organization's privacy programs. Learn more about the administrative penalties, breach reporting requirements and patient notification requirements.

Continuing Education

This webinar has been approved for continuing education units (CEUs) for use in fulfilling the continuation education requirements AHIMA, AAPC, BRN, and ACDIS for CDI-related events not to exceed ten units from any single event. CEUs are based on contact hours. 30 minutes of attendance at an educational program equals .5 CEU.
