Event Description

Military Family Specialist Certificate Program

Military Sexual Trauma (MST) (10 CEUs)
August 10, 2015 – September 5, 2015
Registration Fee:  $370.00

This online course addresses sexual trauma within the military, its effect on service members, and signs that it may be occurring. Treatment approaches and ways to best support a service member who has experienced MST are explored. This course is timely because MST has been a hidden issue within the various service branches.

Online courses are designed to be completed within a prescribed time frame. However, participants can log in and out of the course program at any time throughout the week.  Registrants will receive a welcome email 3-5 days prior to the start of a course which explains how to log on to Canvas (the program where the course is held online) and a syllabus outlining the required reading materials as well as discussion and learning activities due each week. The name and contact information for the course instructor will also be included.

Please note the courses require a minimum number of registrants.  CWLA reserves the right to cancel a course in the event of insufficient registration.
