Military Family Specialist Certificate Program

This online course addresses reintegration of military members and their families post-deployment. When service members return home, both the service member and their families must readjust. Strategies to identify the needs of service members and their families at this critical time, provide support, and promote the competency and well-being of all are explored.

Online courses are designed to be completed within a prescribed time frame. However, participants can log in and out of the course program at any time throughout the week.  Registrants will receive a welcome email 3-5 days prior to the start of a course which explains how to log on to Canvas (the program where the course is held online) and a syllabus outlining the required reading materials as well as discussion and learning activities due each week. The name and contact information for the course instructor will also be included.

Please note the courses require a minimum number of registrants.  CWLA reserves the right to cancel a course in the event of insufficient registration.
