HMT-605
Classifying Hazardous Materials for Transportation -- 3 Days
This course focuses on obtaining and applying information necessary to classify hazardous materials for transportation. It will include a detailed discussion of each hazard class and division (other than classes 1, 6.2 and 7).
Meets applicable requirements for initial and recurrent training.

Prerequisite:
|
Prior regulatory compliance training IS NOT necessary for successful completion of this course. However, students should be familiar with the scientific concepts (corrosivity, flammability, toxicity, reactivity) and terminology (flashpoint, pH, lethal dose/lethal concentration) used by the US DOT to define hazard classes.

Class hours:

8AM - 5PM
Sign-in 7:30 - 8AM on the first day
