HMT-150 - Initial Training

Preparing Hazardous Materials (Dangerous Goods) for Transportation by Multiple Modes - Initial Training

Meets applicable requirements for initial and recurrent training.

Note:
  • "HMR" means U.S. DOT's 49 CFR "Hazardous Materials Regulations"
  • "DGR" means IATA's "Dangerous Goods Regulations"
  • "IMDG Code" means IMO's "International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code"
Prerequisite: None
Materials Provided:
  • A Copy of the HMR
  • A Course Textbook
  • Various handouts including a compliance guide/checklist

A limited number of "loaner" DGRs and IMDG Codes can be provided by DGAC for your use during the course.  

Class hours:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Daily

  • Adjourn at 3:00 PM on the last day
