Course Credits: 3 elective credits
This program follows the aging process of a new home and looks at it under a microscope every five years to reveal changes. Some changes are normal and expected, some changes may be indicators of something to come. This close look every five years will be reinforced using Power Point images of the various conditions as the home ages. When the program reaches the age of an antique home (100 plus years) the program will follow the history of homes in America starting with the most primitive home (Post & Timber) and bring us up to modern building techniques. All through this program, the participants will be given clues that inspectors use to help determine the age of a home.
