PROGRAM DESCRIPTION Join industry experts and expand your understanding of microgrids. Discover where there is growth and opportunity in construction, how best to determine size and storage capacity, how current microgrids were built and are currently being maintained, and what sort of training is needed for microgrid operators. A variety of completed microgrid projects will serve as case studies to best help explain these concepts.
SPEAKERS
Corey Honl, Generac Power Systems Senior Director of Global Industrial Solutions
Mr. Honl is currently is a Sr. Director of Global Industrial Solutions at Generac Power Systems, where he has a lead role in their efforts to grow their commercial and industrial natural gas generator products business into non-traditional energy management applications. He is also managing a team of project managers, application engineers, and commissioning engineers that support these applications and unique customer base. He has been with Generac for 5 years.
Mr. Honl received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and M.E. degree in Engineering Management from the University of Wisconsin, with additional certifications in Product Management and Technical Leadership. He is a licensed Professional Engineer with the state of Wisconsin.
