Join the PEAK Grantmaking Ohio Regional Chapter for an informative and interactive workshop to learn ways to improve your grantmaking practices and network with peers in the grants management community. Participate in the conversation online or attend a local meet-up in Cleveland, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, or Morgantown. Special thanks to Philanthropy West Virginia and Grantmakers of Western Pennsylvania who are co-hosting meeting hubs for this event. 

10:00am    Welcome and Introductions

10:30am    10 Easy Ways to Improve Your Practices Workshop 
This workshop covers ten tips for improving grantmaking practices from research and case studies developed by PEAK Grantmaking covering a range of practices and process components including
applications, reporting, data, and communications. Participants can share what they would add to the list from their own best practices to help their colleagues improve their practices.

During this workshop, participants will:

  • Review 10 tips for implementing practices that will improve your grantmaking​
  • Learn about ways to reduce the burden on grantees – and your staff – of administering grants
  • ​Identify 2 – 3 quick wins they could implement back at their own organization.

12:00pm    Lunch and Networking  (Lunch will be provided at local meet-ups.)
