How to Avoid Losing Your Medicare/Medicaid Provider Numbers

A 90-Minute Lunch & Learn Audio Conference

by

Elizabeth E. Hogue, Esq.

Wednesday, March 4, 2020
****12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Central Time****

Audio-Conference Description

CMS has implemented major changes in provider enrollment. CMS may now revoke enrollment when providers affiliate with certain types of other providers, and pose an undue risk of fraud and abuse.  Now providers are required to disclose all current or previous affiliations with providers with uncollected debt, payment suspensions, exclusion from the Programs, or denials/rescission of billing privileges. CMS can also revoke or deny enrollment when providers bill from non-compliant locations or exhibit a fraudulent pattern of services. The new rules raise many questions. Who must disclose? What must providers disclose under the new rules? How can providers protect themselves against adverse actions by CMS? How can providers appeal decisions by CMS? Don’t get caught out of compliance with these rules that may be devastating to healthcare businesses!  Join us for this teleconference to learn the “ins and outs” of the new rules. Handouts will be provided and questions welcome.
