Event Description

NextGen provides business officials of all experience levels a “survival guide” to navigate the challenges of the new school year. Whether you are new to the profession or have a new job with changing responsibilities, NextGen provides a crash course on essential topics, plus the opportunity to take your learning to the next level with an advanced session track. 

New this year! NextGen will also include mentoring time after lunch — a chance to learn from experienced SBOs.

Registration & Refreshments: 7:30am - 8:00am
Program: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Lunch:  11:50am – 12:30pm
Mentoring Hour: 12:30pm - 1:30pm

Due to changes in the Illinois State Board of Education professional development requirements, please be advised that you will be required to scan in and scan out to all professional development opportunities in which credits are offered. Each attendee will also be required to fill out an evaluation summary in order to receive credit.
